What better way to show the audience just how stupid Mega Man has become than having him fall into a large hole? In fact, why not make it exactly the same hole he fell into a few comics back? And since that was technically the "present", does that mean that the 16-bit Mega Man is even dumber than he used to be, considering he should've remembed that he'd fallen into that same hole before? You know, perhaps a better question is why Dr. Light even has a "Big Hole" just sitting there in his lab. Seems like a health hazard to me. Wouldn't someone have thought to fill it in after all these years? Well, at least there's a sign, for all the good it does anyone. Maybe he put the sign up with the sincere intention of later filling in the hole, but then he started drinking... and now verbally and/or emotionally abuses anyone who brings it up. |
