To be honest, at this point in the comic, I barely knew who Roll was. I hadn't actually played Megaman 7 yet, and she's featured so little in the NES Megaman games, how could I? What I did know was from the basic Megaman knowledged I'd gleaned from various websites, and that was basically just that she was the only canon female character from the Original Series.

As such, I realized that she would have to have a rather strong personality to survive in such a male-dominated atmosphere. Additionally, I'm sure I inserted some of my own ideas about women into her character, which I suppose says a lot about me, when the sole female character ends up being a foul-mouthed, gun-toting, feisty little bitch.

Of course, as time went on, other female characters appeared, such as Kalinka and several fan-made characters, like Slider and Techno as possible sisters of Bass. But as far as my comic goes, it's still basically just Roll and a bunch of dudes. Too bad the only one she's not somehow related to is Bass.
