The subtitle pretty much explains the comic's backstory. I had spend the better part of the day and much of the evening hanging out with some friends, and I had completely forgotten about making a comic for the next day. It wasn't until 2am and I was getting ready for bed that I remembered and frantically scrambled to put something together. The first thing that came to mind was Fight Club, which I'd just recently seen for the first time, and this comic was the result. Overall, I think it works pretty well for such quick work.

By the way, like most people, I don't like to admit when I'm wrong, but sometimes I'm just so very, very wrong about things, and Fight Club is one of them. When I first saw previews for it, I thought it was just some stupid macho UFC-type movie about guys beating each other up. As such, I resisted seeing it, because I thought it would be a waste of time. And then, when I finally watched it, I ended up kicking myself for not having seen it sooner. I was completely and utterly wrong, and I now consider Fight Club one of my favorite movies.

Oh, and while I'm confessing mistakes, I was totally wrong about Harry Potter too.
