Once George's identity has been revealed, it was time to start in on the backstory of just why George (and Bob) had decided to come to the Megaman Universe, even if it did later turn out to be a lie. But hey, I didn't know it yet, so it's okay.

In fact, it was something of a bother, since it's revealed relatively early on that this story about coming just to be in the comic isn't true. But this was before I had really put their motive together, and it seemed plausible enough at the time.

On a different note, the concept that the comic is fundamentally screwed up, mentioned by George here, is echoed in later comics. Of course, if it wasn't fundamentally screwed up, it wouldn't be a very entertaining place, would it?

Oh, and in case you're wondering, George has Chocolate Chip and Mega Man has Strawberry.
