Originally Bass was going to reference his beanie babies in the third panel, but I couldn't think of anything else that he'd really freak out about for the fourth panel, so I moved the beanie babies to the last panel and picked Magic the Gathering cards for the third panel. I wonder if my geekier readers would have preferred it the other way around.
