There are two things I find interesting about this dynamic. First, it would follow that Ninja Ned, being an alternate to Mike, could actually be a competent ninja, and just rise to rule the rest of the ninjas. As such, it would make sense that Mynd could be subservient to him. One could assume that in Mynd's home dimension, it was Mynd that rose through the ranks instead.

Second, it's odd that Mike and Ned have different names. Obviously they actually have different names because of the "Ninja Ned" nickname Roll used, but in the context of the comic, it's surprising that alternates somehow ended up with different names.

I have no idea what the context of this quip was, but I think I can safely assume that I had just gotten a particularly stupid email from an AOLer.
