And yet another in the long list of things the Author did that pissed Bob off. In fact, I dare say this is the moment that Bob really decided to kill the Author and destroy the comic. Now, my thinking here is that since the Shadowy Author is effectively the Author of the Rockman Universe, the corruption occurred because he was out dealing with the regular Author in the Cataclysm Flashback storyline. He didn't realize Bob was going to show up and the corruption would occur as it did. Presumably now that he's aware of the situation, he won't allow it to become corrupted again.
